Creative Contest: Logo competition for the daycare centres of the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg

Are you creative, do you have a knack for design and are you a student at the University of Oldenburg, Jade University of Applied Sciences or Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences? Then take part in the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg logo competition! We are looking for two new, professional logos for our daycare centres Huntemannstraße and Constantia. Take the chance to see your design officially in use - and win canteen vouchers worth a total of 300 euros.

 

 

Design a logo for each of two of our daycare centres. Ideally, the logos should reflect the identity of the daycare centres, but can still be stylistically linked to the Studierendenwerk logo.

You can find a brief overview of the characteristics of the daycare centres at the bottom of this page.

 

In addition to the chance to use your design as an official daycare centre brand in your portfolio, winners will also receive canteen vouchers worth a total of €300.

Who can take part?

Creative students from the University of Oldenburg, the Jade University of Applied Sciences or the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer.

Technical requirements:

  • Two logos that are stylistically associated with the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg
  • File formats: .ai, .eps, .svg, .pdf, .png (transparent)
  • Colour and black and white versions

 

Legal information:

  • The winners transfer the rights of use to the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg.
  • The logos must be independent and creatively designed.

A jury consisting of representatives of the Studierendenwerk, daycare centre staff, children and their parents will evaluate the designs according to

Huntemannstraße day care centre

Location: Oldenburg

Crèche: Children from 0 - 3 years are looked after here.

Group names: Red group, Yellow group

Special feature: A natural garden with old trees. Excursions into the surrounding countryside are important to us.

Constantia daycare centre

Location: Emden

Crèche: Children from 0 - 3 years are cared for here.

Kindergarten: Children aged 3 and over are looked after here.

Group names: Lighthouses, starfish, shells, lugworms, seagulls, seals

Special feature: Low German is also spoken here.
