We get up early so that everything is ready in time for your lunch break, because we cook fresh, of course. With food from the region and about 25% from organic farming, because sustainability has been our concern for 40 years.

Our focus is on vegan and vegetarian dishes, but we also offer meat dishes. The beef and pork comes from species-appropriate animal husbandry. The labelling on the menu shows you at a glance what's in it. Of course, this also applies to allergens.

CampusCard

With the CampusCard you can pay cashless in all cafeterias, café bars and canteens of the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg. This applies not only in the facilities at the university, but everywhere where the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg operates canteens and the like: At the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg, Elsfleth and Wilhelmshaven as well as at the Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences.

 

Vending machines for topping up the CampusCard are located in the foyers of the respective canteens. You can also load money onto your card in the cafeterias and café bars, but not in the canteens. Alternatively, you can also pay with cash at the cash desks. 
 

Do you already know the children's plate?

As a student or employee at the university, you are of course welcome to take your children with you to the canteen. For just 1 euro, your children can have a plate put together from the current menu. The children's plate is available up to the age of 10.
 

Sustainability

Sustainability has long been a top priority in university catering at the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg. Almost 40 years ago, we were pioneers in sustainable cafeteria operations with the introduction of the completely vegetarian "Alternative Food" menu line. Since then, we have continued to develop and have reached many other milestones. We work with great conviction to continue placing sustainable principles at the centre of everything we do.
