Scholarships for internationals

The following DAAD scholarships are available:

• STIBET graduation scholarships: for international students and doctoral candidates with very good performance to complete a degree within one year
• STIBET scholarships for more equal opportunities: for international students and doctoral candidates from the 3rd semester with special challenges in their studies (e.g. refugees, people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, people with special care situations for children and people in need of care).

STIBET funds can cover up to €500 per month for a period of 3-4 months. Scholarship holders must still be enrolled during the payment period.

Further scholarship opportunities:

• Full scholarship from the Jakob Mann Foundation for particularly talented students and doctoral candidates
  The Jakob Mann Foundation awards one person a scholarship of up to €1,000 per month for a maximum period of 12 months. The giftedness can be demonstrated by academic achievements, but can also be shown in other areas (e.g. musical, artistic)
• Oscar Romero Scholarship
  The Oscar Romero Foundation awards a one-off scholarship of up to €1,000 to international students and doctoral candidates who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in an unforeseeable emergency situation .
